Same Day Different Poster #95

So as Shan mentioned today was "every kid should spend time alone". Well, as much as I have loved the knew adventures that this blog has come with I really loved today! Back in May I started this thing where one day every month I would turn off my phone and disconnect from reality. Sometimes I would do it for the whole day other times just for a few hours. This would be what I would call me "Kelli Time" where I would reconnect with myself and get my crazy feet back on the ground. For the last few months I have been too busy to indulge in these days, but that was definitely what I did today. It started out really slow by me just laying in my bed and thinking. After my think time was over I read from "Wicked" for a while. I lazed about for a good portion of the day and loved it. I finally reconnected with my toes that have been abandoned for months and I glitterized them! It now makes me so badly want summer and to go barefooted all day long. While I did spend a good portion of my day alone it wasn't all fun and games because I have lesson plans to prepare and a big project I am working on, but the time that I did have to be alone and laze about was VERY much enjoyed. I think this is one that I wouldn't mind repeating a few times!
