Day 13 #99

Today's thing is "every kid should learn the value of money". The book gave suggestions like have your child save and then give money to a charity, or buy a bond, or start a savings account. Well we only have 101 days to value money so we took a different look on it. One of the suggestions was to get your kids to notice the penny on the ground and be excited about picking it up and saving it. We took that one and altered it a little bit. We got a jar and we are saving any and all change that we get/find and we are saving it in this jar. At the end of our adventures we are going to take the money that we have saved and buy a memento from the trip that we are taking. As of right now we have about $2 in there. if you want to join us ans start saving your pennies and dimes and send them to our collection, all donations are gladly and happily accepted!

Every kid should go for a ride in a small airplane. 26. Every kid should experiment with simple science projects. 27. Every kid should take music lessons. 28. Every kid should help bake a cake from scratch and then lick the frosting bowl. 29. Every kid should grow a vegetable garden. 30. Every kid should blow a bubble gum bubble until it pops. 31. Every kid should experience a family car trip. 32. Every kid should see a classic movie on the big screen. 33. Every kid should go to a parade. 34. Every kid should write in a journal. 35. Every kid should possess a soft, cuddly stuffed animal that he is never forced to give up because he’s ‘too old’. 38. Every kid should have a collection. 39.
